RU Grand Opening April 3
Nine weeks ago, we started a ministry that is desperately needed in our community. It is an addictions program called RU. We meet at 7p on Friday nights, and without any advertising…about 40 people have been coming to this program each week. Well…we want everyone in our community to know about it. So…we’re having a Grand Opening. It will be THIS Friday at 7p…and we want YOU to be there. All of our lives have been touched by addiction in some way, so would you help us by: praying for the Grand opening, by inviting someone, and/or by being there this Friday at 7p to support this life-changing ministry? There is no cost for this program and childcare is provided.
Donations for Candy-filled Eggs
In case you missed all the pastel colors, Cadbury eggs, bunnies, and baskets…Easter is NEXT Sunday! We hope that you’ll join us. We have a great service planned and we’ll have an Easter egg hunt for the children after the service. If you’re past that stage of life, but would still like to participate…you can bring candy filled eggs for the children and leave them in the designated box in the foyer.
Connection Class Starts Soon
Maybe you’re new here, or haven’t been coming for very long…and you’re just not sure about going out to invite people to a church that you don’t know that much about. Well…do I have a great opportunity for you. We’ll start our next “Connection class” on April 19th. This 3 week class is all about understanding the purpose and direction of our church. It meets in the Pastor’s office at 9:30a on Sundays. You can sign up right here.
Ladies Spring Banquet – May 1
The biggest event of the year for our Ladies is the “Ladies Spring Banquet.” It will be on Friday, May 1st. The theme is “Fill your cup.” There will be a delicious meal, giveaways, games, and lots of fun! Kendra Mayfield will be the guest speaker. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. Tickets will be available starting April 12th.
